作者本身服用12年的抗抑郁药物，最终却在调研过程中发现药物对当时还是青少年的自己完全没用。一个医药神话的陨落，非常挑战我身为心理学人的认知。对于依赖药物治疗的心理学病人来说是比较好的科普读物。治疗，无论如何还是要依赖有意义的工作、生活环境和人际关系。
