看起來是厚厚的一本大部頭，讀起來並不太費力。它給齣的實例多而好用、覆蓋麵全，不需要太深刻的數學功底，對於復雜的定理性質等也不強調證明，而是著眼於幾何意義和實際用途，直觀易懂。作者本身的工科背景使得這本書在工業問題和計算機等實用方麵的優點更為突齣，數學依據...

這本書最大的不同就是理論介紹很多，而且采用很好的幾何學到方法解釋，非常清楚。後麵一部分介紹具體到算法，隻介紹瞭重要的算法，如果能於Numerical Opimization結閤看會很好。此外，還可以verycd上找到視頻講座，那個老外發音相當標準。；）
