兩位編者華琛和羅友枝之間的“根本分歧”（禮是practice高於belief，還是以practice建立belief）其實未必是人類學傢和曆史學傢的分歧，也未必真的是個分歧。

清明前看完也算應景，導論兩章引用最多，食物那章也不錯，最感興趣是最後一章殯儀改革，不過小失望。大部分章節看起來應該很有趣，不過變成瞭材料梳理，例如毛的遺體處理、儀式專傢那兩章。讓我驚訝的是材料我都好陌生，變遷太快瞭……
