Dr. Robert Cialdini has spent his entire career researching the science of influence earning him an international reputation as an expert in the fields of persuasion, compliance, and negotiation.
His books including, Influence, are the result of decades of peer-reviewed research on why people comply with requests. Dr. Cialdini received his Ph.D from the University of North Carolina and post doctoral training from Columbia University. Currently, Dr Cialdini is Regents’ Professor Emeritus of Psychology and Marketing at Arizona State University.

Influence: Science and Practice is an examination of the psychology of compliance (i.e. uncovering which factors cause a person to say "yes" to another's request) and is written in a narrative style combined with scholarly research. Cialdini combines evidence from experimental work with the techniques and strategies he gathered while working as a salesperson, fundraiser, advertiser, and other positions, inside organizations that commonly use compliance tactics to get us to say "yes." 評分看以前,我以為這本書是講如何說服彆人的;看過之後,纔知道它的主旨是如何防止上當。雖然和我的期望不符,但是這本書還算不錯,最好的是有很多科學研究例子支持。
