查爾斯•E•布萊斯勒（Charles E. Bressler），美國學者，威爾剋斯大學文學學士，斯剋蘭頓大學理科碩士，佐治亞大學博士。2008年以來，任印第安納衛斯理大學英語教授，亦擔任約翰•衛斯理榮譽學院的高級學者，教授世界經典文學、修辭學等。其研究興趣主要集中在文學理論與批評，英美作傢C. S. 劉易斯、J. R. R. 托爾金、G. K. 切斯特頓、查爾斯•威廉斯，埃德加•愛倫•坡和納撒尼爾•霍桑等方麵。

《文學批評：理論與實踐導論》是布萊斯勒的代錶作，該著自1994年初版以來，不斷修訂完善，目前已齣至第五版，是美國文學批評方麵最暢銷的入門書之一。
