經典的外文書還是讀原版的比較好，不同文化背景下的語言差異太大，譯本很難原汁原味的傳達小說的神韻。這本書裏的老人和魚都給瞭我很大的鼓勵和勇氣。這書讀得慢，因為我時不時做點摘錄，查查詞什麼的。我喜歡老人的性格，我覺得我和他很像，樂觀，忍耐，熱愛自然，不會貪得無厭的索取。也因為海明威細膩的筆觸而喜歡那魚，賦予那魚高貴的特質。其中有一句話我後來常常想起，剛到基督城那幾天的迷茫睏頓全在這書裏瞭。
