精彩之處確實精彩，對區域研究，種族/文化研究，比較文學的學科邏輯的整理和評判言簡意繁。不是“不講人話”，是預設瞭大量讀者層麵的知識，尤其一些關鍵詞的復雜語義。問題在於：所有姿態(“to come” anteriority), 僅僅是一種對不可能的想象。理論界容許激進的程度有限，而革命發生的場所絕不僅僅是大學課堂。標題起得奪目，但這門舊學科死瞭嗎？Planetarity僅僅是對globalization字麵上的取締嗎？比較文學是孤芳自賞的兼濟天下。The question “How many are we?” when cultural origin is detranscendentalized into fiction—the toughest task in the diaspora.
