剛好利用隔離在傢的這段時間看完。書裏講的devops文化，公司都在做，看完感覺主要的收獲不是知道“怎麼做“，而是明白為什麼公司“要這麼做”。

一本IT紀實小說，講述PU公司通過IT項目與公司業務結閤繼而將公司起死迴生的故事。John帶領IT團隊在高人Eick的指點下，加強Dev與IT Ops及business之間的協同工作，·中間不乏人事政治鬥爭，甚有意思。

陸陸續續當小說讀完（其實就是小說），比較有意思的是能看到大型外企中高層的政治鬥爭，然後全書描述瞭主人公如何用神一樣的精益方法挽救瞭死亡邊緣的 Phoenix 項目，然而實際場景中未必會有這麼神奇的功效，我體會更為深刻的反而是幾位主人公的敬業精神，為瞭項目、為瞭公司，真可謂殫精竭慮，值得學習和敬佩。最後，書最後說瞭IT是業務的核心競爭力，事實也的確如此，越來越多的公司離不開IT，所以我們碼農不必擔心吃飯問題啦。
